Abstract
Imam Musa Galadima was a prominent Islamic scholar who played a pivotal role in enhancing religious education within Ebira community and beyond. He has been adjudged to be one of the best Islamic leaders to have existed in Ebiraland due to the level of his humility, patience, endurance and dedication to the services of his Creator and humanity. Until his demise, he was known and addressed as a peace ambassador by all and sundry. This paper appraises the contributions of Imam Musa Abdullahi Galadima in promoting quality Islamic education in Ebiraland. The paper relied on the secondary sources of data such as textbooks, journal publications, theses and conference papers to explain the contributions of the late Chief Imam. The study revealed that his achievements include the establishment of several Islamic schools in Ebiraland, delivering of Jumuah sermons in Ebira language, establishment of Ebira Muslim College at Okengwe among others. The paper has also demonstrated his impact on the socio-cultural and educational landscape of the land. The findings of this research have underscored the importance of his visionary leadership in the advancement of quality education and religious tolerance in Ebiraland. Finally, the paper has highlighted the enduring legacies of the great man; Chief Imam Musa Abdullahi Galadima, in Ebiraland.
